1.3.7. Component comparison

The Settings dialog for the component comparison can be accessed via the Tools menu -> settings or directly from the component comparison via the icon be opened.

  • Comparative calculation [Comparison calculation]:

    Live calculation in OpenGL (not all graphics cards are supported) [Live calculation in OpenGL (Not all graphic cards supported)] (activated by default)

    In the case of superimposed components, the comparison operations are calculated in real time when they are moved against each other.

  • Transparency settings:

    The transparency settings [Transparency settings] are used in the 3D view.

    • Transparency 1.component [Transparency 1.Part]

    • Transparency 2.component [Transparency 2.Part]

    • Result

    Enter the desired value for transparency in the input fields (0 to 100 [invisible]).

  • Color settings:

    Clicking in the color field opens the Select color [Choose color] dialog box.

    Select color [Choose color] dialog box

    Select color [Choose color] dialog box

    Select the desired color and confirm with OK.

    • Color first component [Color first part]

    • Color second component [Color second part]

    • Result

    • Brightness hidden edges (2D) [Hidden edges brightness (2D)]:

      The setting is used in the 2D comparison.

      The brightness of these is set to 50% by default so that "hidden edges" do not disturb the overall picture.
