4.1.4.2.3. Direct online linking of the LinkDB to the ERP-DB
With regard to ERP data, only the article no. or ERP no. of the respective part is entered in the LinkDB
The required dataset will be drawn from
ERP DB not until a user request in PARTsolutions.
PARTdataCenter is required for the
initial filling.
Advantage: Complete data record is always imported from the ERP database in real time
Disadvantage: Calling can take longer with a large number of displayed parts
The following screenshot shows an example of a stock and/or price query
It is possible to display any useful information in PARTdataManager as an additional column.
The direct online request as linkage
method, is the most contemporary request possibility and the most
effective in case of inventory request. The other linkage methods
can certainly display the data as well.
The PARTsolutions user sees the fields that are important for making a decision.
