2.7. Save file - Identification details

Once the variables and table have been created, save the file by clicking on the Save button.

-> The Identification details [Identification data] window is opened with the Geometry tab page.

Fill in the mandatory fields Component name [Part name], Author and Company key.

If a valid company key [Company key] is not entered, OK remains grayed out and it cannot be saved.

The scheme for a valid company key [Company key] is as follows:

CNS2009*CATALOGS*KATALOGNAME

Here in the training example, the company key [Company key] is:

CNS2009*CATALOGS*TRAINING

Switch to the Table tab page.

Table tab page

Fill in the mandatory fields Standard designation [Standard name], Parts list designation [Description for BOM] and Standard number. Details can be found at ???.

The following table gives information on all fields:

Standard name

Since the variable NENN exists, it makes sense to use it for the standard designation [Standard name]. It must be unique!

  • Pay attention to the syntax in the standard designation [Standard name] field! Make sure you enter your entries within the two quotation marks provided. If you want to include table values in the designation, please append them to the actual designation in the format dollar sign variable name dot (without spaces): see above: 'NB='Cap nut for training $NENN.''

  • The specifications are based on the usual standards.

BOM name

Alternative to the standard designation. Is also transferred to the CAD system during export and appears there in the parts list.

Standard Number

e.g. "DIN 1587"

Standard title

Description of the standard part

Release date

Date of dimensional and/or product standard

Company

Your company

The identification details are now complete. Confirm the entries with OK.
