Search for Individual parts [parts]

Searching for individual parts only makes sense if a result does not have too many rows. This is either because it only has a few rows or because the search has already filtered out rows. This is automatically the case with geometric searches (3D) [Geometric search (3D)] or with topology searches [Topology search] with specification of e.g. size or with full text searches [Full-text search] with additional specification of variable values.

Example for full text search [Full-text search]:

This mode is also important when searching own part catalogs, if heterogeneous parts with totally different look are combined in a classification project.

Search for parts and part families

In this mode you can both access the part family and the characteristics within. Initially the result list is displayed compressed only with part families. But when clicking on the button at a result, below all found characteristics are displayed.
