2.3.7.8. NX: "Position Override" functionality

As soon as the key CreateFlexibleAssemblies is set to 1 in the configuration file ifugnx.cfg and an assembly (catalog) is inserted into another assembly (user), the position data of the subcomponents is saved in the target assembly (user). This allows the user to move the subcomponents without modifying the catalog assembly.

The piston has been moved out of the cylinder, modifying only the user assembly.

Notes:

  • This feature is only applied during placement. It has no effect on export.

  • This feature has no effect on single parts.

  • This feature only works properly starting with NX 10.
