You are in the open PARTdataManager and have selected an individual part.
Transfer the selected part to PARTbom by clicking the Transfer to parts list (PARTbom) [Transfer to Bill of Materials (PARTbom)] button.
-> A window for entering the number of parts [Quantity] appears.
Specify the quantity [Number of Parts] with which the part is to be created in the BOM list and confirm with .
-> PARTbom is started and the Select parts list [Select bom file] query dialog appears.
Optional: If various list format templates are available, the Select order form [Choose order form] window opens.
Select the desired list format template from the available ones and confirm with .
-> PARTbom is opened and shows the transferred part as a subdirectory of the Checkin [Check-in] folder in the Hierarchical view menu area.
The Table view and Print preview menu areas do not yet contain any information on the component.
Drag & drop the transferred parts from Checkin [Check-in] into the Parts list [Bill of material] folder.
-> In the print preview [Print preview] (the actual form) you will now see the transferred part as an item, in the table view [Table view] the data.
To add further parts to the parts list, return to the PARTdataManager and follow the above steps again.
You can also apply parts yourself and incorporate them in the BOM list. (see next section).
