8.2.1. Mark element as favorite

  1. Click at any level (catalog, directory, part family, or Table row) to the desired unfilled star .

    • an unfilled asterisk means that The catalog or component has not yet been marked as a favorite became.

    • a yellow star indicates that the catalog or the component has already been marked as a favorite.

    -> The Add to favorites list window opens.

    Here, the ISO 4762 parts family has been marked as a favorite.

  2. Click in the desired list (or possibly in several) on the one unfilled star .

    [Note]Note

    The Favorites Option appears disabled if you the Owner has only granted read rights.

    -> The Star is colored yellow .

    1. Optional you can create a sublist by clicking on the plus sign.

      -> The Create sublist dialog box opens.

    2. Optionally, you can create a new list by clicking on the + New list button.

  3. As soon as your actions are complete, click Close.

    -> The dialog box is closed.

    -> You or others can now open the favorite at a later time.
