Update index / Update search index / Update classification index

So that individual parts can be displayed in the PARTsolutions module PARTdataManager module, directory or file references are necessary.
These references are pregenerated in the form of search index files upon catalog delivery.
If changes have been made to files or new files are added, the index must be updated every time.
You can simply do this in PARTproject using the Update index button.
Alternatively, you can also update the index in PARTadmin using the context menu command Index for full text search [Full-text search index] (see Section 1.3.3.6.6.3, “Full text search index ” in PARTsolutions Administration - Manual ).
So that full text search [Full-text search] and variable search [Variables search] in PARTproject and in PARTdataManager work (see Section 5.7.1.1, “ Text search for part ”), the full-text search index ( Update search index button) must be created.
Alternatively, you can also update the full-text search index in PARTadmin using the context menu command Index for full-text search [Full-text search index] (see Section 1.3.3.6.6.3, “Full text search index ” in PARTsolutions Administration - Manual ).
You can also have the display index and full-text search index created or updated automatically when a catalog is downloaded. In the Extras menu under Settings [Settings...]... -> General, you will find the setting options Update index after downloading a catalog [Update index after downloading catalog] and Update full-text search index after downloading a catalog.
To ensure that the classification dialogs in PARTproject display the correct data for the projects, the classification index must be updated.
In order for the geometric search methods and the search for ERP information to work in PARTdataManager, the geo search index [Geometrical search index] and the LinkDB search index [LinkDB search index] must be created.
