Start with the creation of the "raw" cap nut.

  1. Select the initial level XY in the 3D history [3D History] docking window.

    -> The selected level is displayed with a mesh structure underneath.

  2. Use the secondary mouse button to call up the context menu for tarpaulin XY.

  3. Click on the item New sketch.... [New sketch...]

    -> The Sketcher opens.

In the next steps, the 2D sketch of the cap nut shall be created as shown below.
