Type: PART-NOTATION [PART-ANNOTATION]
Part annotations do not have any text. For each single part of an assembly the so-called position number is displayed.
Item numbers are only assigned to parts that are relevant for the parts list. These are precisely the parts that have received the Transfer to parts list [Transfer to Bill of Material] label in the assembly configuration. In the PARTdataManager Parts view [Part view], these parts are displayed in black in the Assembly dialog box, while parts that are not relevant for the parts list are displayed in grey.
Position numbers are generated dynamically. Identical NBs get the same position number.
The item numbers can be displayed not only in a 2D view, but also in a parts list table. See Section 7.11.9, “[ELEMENT_table] Table ”.
