1.3.6.6. Remove / Restore / Show history

  • Remove / Restore is only available on catalogs that have been uploaded to the server.

  • Undo local changes: Removed elements are marked as locally deleted ( for classes or for products) and are only actually deleted when a "Commit" is executed.

If you want to restore the element marked as locally deleted (no "Commit" executed yet), use the Undo changes [Revert changes] context menu command.

Details on this can be found under Section 1.3.6.6.2, “Revert local changes”.

  • Revert committed changes:

    • To restore modifications that have already been committed, use the context menu entry Show history or Product history for the subdirectory [Show history of products in subtree]. The history on the server is displayed in the Show history [Show History] dialog box.

      [Note]Note

The relevant server status is restored locally with all changes up to this status.

However, to specifically restore a removed class, for example, use the Restore removed classes command (see next point).

Afterwards you can commit the changes to the server again.

    • To restore deleted elements, there are the commands Restore removed attributes, Restore removed catalogs [Restore removed catalogs], Restore removed classes and Restore removed products.

-> A dialog box showing the removed elements (with name and description) is displayed.

The elements can then be restored by multiple selection. As products do not have a name or description, the ident is displayed.

Details on this can be found under Section 1.3.6.6.3, “Revert committed changes”.
