7.9.4.  Sketch history

  • All design steps are recorded chronologically in the Sketch history docking area. The last step taken is at the bottom.

  • Relations between design steps are symbolized by Relation lines.

  • The sketch history [Sketch history] can be edited. This means, for example, that you can remove superfluous steps.

  • With the help of a movable marking (time line) (per default at the bottom of the tree) you can always return to a previous design step.

The line can be moved once the double arrow symbol is shown as cursor.

You can also move the line using the context menu command: To do this, select the last feature to be displayed and click on Set selection [Set mark].

  • In the Sketch history docking area, a distinction is made between main and subordinate features.

    • Main features are created through function buttons, such as Rectangle (point, width and height), for example.

    • A subordinate feature defines the main feature in more detail, e.g. by specifying the width [Width] or height [Height].
