You can use the 3D shape [3D Shape] function to perform a range of different geometric searches. Click on the button to open the following dialog:
Use your own 3D model [Use own 3D model]: You can drag and drop the desired part into the designated area or upload it using the "File selection" button. Alternatively, you can also use the part loaded in the 3D view for the geometric search (see below).
You can perform the search for an individual part or a part of an assembly. In either case, the settings dialog opens after loading the part. For details, see Section 4.4.2.1, “ Use your own 3D model (or the one opened in 3D)”.

Advanced search for geometric features: Without existing geometry, you can perform the search based on the definition of geometric features. These are, for example, holes, patterns, cylindrical or flat surfaces, component size, etc. See Section 4.4.2.3, “ Advanced search for geometric features ”.
