To fill columns with values from the thread tables, use the context menu command Fill column with thread information in the column header of the table. Values for nominal diameter (ND), thread pitch (PITCH), core diameter external thread (KDA) and core diameter internal thread (KDI) can be entered.
That means a considerable speed advantage for the modeller's work and will reduce the error rate.
Open the context menu in the column header and click on Fill column with thread information.
-> The Fill column [Fill columns] dialog box opens.
Select the desired standard in the expanded list field under Thread standard [Thread norm].
Under Thread name, specify the column to be used for mapping the appropriate thread information.
Select the desired thread parameter in the expanded list field under Output parameters [Return value].
-> The values found in the thread norm are entered in the column.
-> If no mapping was possible, a corresponding message is displayed.
Repeat the procedure, but this time for column COL2 with selection "PITCH" for output parameters [Return value].
