3.2.23.  Release Notes

The creation of release notes [Release Notes] before a publication step is mandatory.

To set new release notes, proceed as described below. The release notes [Release Notes] must be set at the latest before republishing (see Section 6.10, “ Publish catalog ”).

  1. Select the desired catalog directory in the directory structure on the left.

    -> The Release Notes tab is now displayed on the right.

  2. Click on the tab.

    -> The respective dialog area is opened.

    If entries already exist, all these are displayed.

  3. Click on the button Add entry.

    -> A new dialog area is opened.

    1. The current date [Date] is set. However, you can make changes at any time.

    2. In the list field, select the adequate type:

      • Product update [Product Update]: New, changed, deleted products (projects, project lines)

      • Translation: e.g. individual translations or entire catalog language

      • System update [System Update]: Updates due to software changes (major versions, but also service packs)

      • Classification: Classification updates or classified projects (e.g. classified according to eClass)

      • Assistants:

      • Other: Everything that does not fit into one of the other categories, such as data changes under Edit project - > Documents tab page.

    3. Enter the new text.

In order to edit or delete entries, put the cursor into the desired field.

Then click on to edit or on to delete.
