As of V11 SP8 columns can not only be filled with (calculated) values of other columns (context menu command Fill columns), but also with values from the thread tables (context menu command Fill column with thread information). Values for nominal diameter (ND), pitch (PITCH), core diameter outer thread (KDA) and core diameter inner thread (KDI) can be entered.
That means a considerable speed advantage for the modeller's work and will reduce the error rate.
Now with V11 SP9 further enhancements have been added:
Thread name: The column where the thread name is found can be selected from a list field (up to now input field).
Return value: Now shows a description in addition, not only the abbreviation (e.g.: before „ND“, now „Nominal Diameter (ND)“)
Final zeros are allowed now. „M8x1.0“ also finds „M8x1“ in the thread table.
