Description (Variable description): In the Variable Manager, information to ease identification should be entered.

Note The description should make sense and not be misused for providing other information. Example: A variable "L" should show "Length" and NOT "+/-0,5", for example.

The content of the field Description is displayed in PARTdataManager, in the table's column header as subtitle.

Furthermore the variable description is displayed in the Faceted search / Filter search. Especially here, misused entries are not helpful.
