5.12. How can I import the selected CAD model into the CAD system?

5.12.1. How can I send selected CAD model to my email address and import it into the CAD system?

After clicking the button CAD or Generate CAD MODEL (some supplier portals) the specified formats are generated and then displayed in the download area "Prepared files".

Prerequisite is that under Formats -> Your selection, the desired formats have been specified in the respective area (Download \| E-Mail \| PART2cad). (If this has not already been done, go to the tabbed page Add formats). You can select formats in one, two or all three categories. Also see Section 5.10, “How can I select CAD formats?”. Download \| Email \| PART2cad After selection of button Files generated parts will be displayed under Prepared files. Icon and text beside the generated parts show the specified download method. Email: Generated parts are packed in a zip file and sent by email. After clicking on text or icon you can see shipping information and contained formats. The display of email information in the download area depends on portal. May be you will only receive the email. For details see Section 5.12.1, “How can I send selected CAD model to my email address and import it into the CAD system?”. Download: Generated parts are packed and provided as zip file. After clicking on text or icon, options to open or save the zip file are displayed. For details see Section 5.12.2, “How can I download selected CAD model and import it into the CAD system?”. PART2cad: When clicking on the icon the direct integration is started. For details see Section 5.12.3, “How can I directly integrate selected CAD model into CAD system (PART2cad)? ”.
