The renaming of existing catalogs should be avoided whenever possible, especially if the catalog was already released as a CIP for PARTsolutions. If the company name has changed the best way is to adjust only the Catalog name (see PARTproject -> Settings -> tabbed page General -> Settings for the catalog) and its Translation (see Section 5.8.2.1.13, “ Translation ””). Even if the result is a small inconsistence with the physical folder name, all important references on the end media side will further exist and this is what primary should be ensured – to not damage any existing processes at the customer environment. If someday it should be necessary to change the physical folder name, then the CADENAS Project Management in Augsburg should be urgently contacted first.
