1.7.4.4. Edit datasets in the PARTdataManager

After clicking on the button, the window Edit/delete dataset shows up.

The button is only available with enhanced ERP functionality. It is also role-specific, meaning it may be deactivated for some users. For more info see ???.

  • New key value

    If desired, change the ERP_PDM_NUMBER.

    [Note]Note

    An assigned number should generally not be changed.

The data display is divided into Link-data and ERP data.

  • Update dataset

    Click on the value to be changed.

    The entry field opens.

    Change the value accordingly and click on Update dataset.

  • Edit varset

    If you are dealing with a variant in the marked row, you can change the geometry value, otherwise a message shows up.

    1. Click on Edit varset.

      --> The dialog window opens

    2. Change the desired value.

    3. Then click on Update dataset.

  • Delete link

    Deletes the data in the LINKTABLE.

    This is followed by a query whether or not the data should be kept in the ERPTABLE. Reply accordingly.

  • Execute SQL-command

    Opens the same named window.

    In the SQL command entry area you can set any command.

    Define the maximum number of rows in the result.

    Click on Execute.

    Via browse button ... you can have the table names and a selection of SQL commands displayed.
