In a last step the cap nut gets an inner thread.
With the secondary mouse key, call the context menu of Plane XY.
Lead the cursor to the coordinate system's zero-point until the snap appears and fix it with a mouse click.
From the coordinate system's zero-point, drag a rectangle and fix it with a mouse click.
In the dialog box Change parameter, enter T as width (thread depth), DG/2 as hight (thread nominal diameter) and confirm with .
Click the button Cylindrical thread by length
.Click on the respective sketch elements and areas and follow the notes in the footer:
-> The dialog box Change parameter is opened.
Set 'T-X' for Thread length and 'X' for Run out length.
Rotate the right line of rectangle with 30°.
Select line to rotate and then click on the button Rotate selection.
Trim the marked elements to each other in their intersection point.
Click on the button Trim elements to each other
.Remove the protruding line end.
For this, click on the button Trim element with other
.In the context menu of Sketch 3, select Cut -> Rotate....
-> The docking window Rotational solid is opened.
Leave the defaults and confirm with .
-> The finished cap nut is displayed in the 3D view.
-> When saving the first time, the dialog box Identification data is opened. Perform the respective settings and confirm with . Compare above.
Close the PARTdesigner and return to PARTproject.

Note In order to display the geometry in the preview, in the dialog area Project selection, select respective 3db file.
