1.3.4.4. Search by order number or type designation
Use this search method to search by order number or type designation [Order number or type code]. To do this, click on the right-hand button to the left of the text search input field
.
Fixed order numbers can also be found using the full text search [Full-text search]. However, if an order number [Order number] or a type designation [Type name] is composed using values from value range variables, an extremely large number of possible combinations quickly arise that cannot be mapped in the standard index, meaning that the full-text search [Full-text search] does not return any hits.
With this search
method you will find order numbers and/or type code in any case (provided
the catalog is prepared accordingly).

Fixed order numbers can still be found in parallel using the full text search [Full-text search]. Please pay
attention to upper and lower case. Empty
spaces are ignored. The standard search does not ignore empty
spaces! For example, if the order number is "123 456", it will also be found with a search "123456". The following applies for existing ERP integration: For rows with an existing ERP number, ALL variable values are indexed in the standard index and can therefore be found using a full-text search [Full-text search]. The order number or type designation [Order number or type code] search method cannot be combined with other searches, so these are deactivated (grayed out). The button can be hidden by config. See the Section 1.6.5.16.4.2, “
