2.5. Import table data via CSV

Import other characteristics from the CSV file saved under ..\23d-libs\training\beginner\solutions\cap_nut\cap_nut_small.csv.

  1. Click on Import CSV file .

  2. In the Explorer window, choose the desired CSV.

    -> The dialog box Csv Import is opened.

  3. Under Header, activate the checkboxes Variable names and Variable descriptions.

  4. Click Next>.

    -> A preview is opened.

  5. In the column Variable name, you can determine for each variable, whether it shall ignored or mapped.

    In the case in hand, the mapping shall be for the same variable name.

  6. Finally click on Next>.

    -> Data gets imported.
