In the window Variable release [Variable share] (accessible in PARTdesigner via the configurator [Configurator] → right click on a sub assembly → Variable release [Variable share] ) the line Release name is now automatically filled.

You can activate the Edit mode button by clicking on it to assign your own name. It is important that the name entered is accepted via Set. Otherwise, the name will be overwritten when editing mode is switched off by clicking on another variable.
