You need the "ECATADDONS*NEUTRAL*IMPORTER " license. If this is missing, the menu item Import neutral formats in batch run (Quick and Simple) [Batch import neutral formats (Quick and Simple)] is not displayed (see ???).
With the additional license "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO ", extended features/topology information such as sphere [Sphere], torus [Torus] and extended cylinder [Elongated Cylinder] are imported. The other features such as holes [Hole], cylinders [Cylinder], cones [Cone], parallel planes [Opposite Planes], patterns [Pattern], rounding [Fillet], etc. are imported with significantly higher quality. This is important so that the features can be recognized later in Geometric Search (3D [Geometric search (3D)] ).
You can see active licenses [Active licenses] by clicking on F9 in the application or on the Licenses menu item in the Help menu [Help]. Open the Features sub-item in the dialog window.
You will not receive any further information about the license in the Quick and Simple dialog box (see ???). You also do not have to/can not set anything in this regard. The quality of the imported data depends solely on the existence of the "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO " license.
Following figure shows advanced topology features in addition.
General topology features are basically available.
Since topology information / features are also used as basic search criteria, subsequently search results will be better and more exact.
The following illustration shows a selected "Sphere [Sphere] " feature in the Partial Search [Partial search] dialog box.
If "Unknown" is displayed for a feature selection, the feature is not available for the partial search [Partial search] because it was not read in during part import (no "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO" license).
