If no 3D parameters are set, views and font size are used from the 2D settings. If the settings for 3D are set, then these overwrite the 2D settings (for 3D). The export of the 2D derivation remains unaffected.
Always visible: By default, dimensionings are hidden in the respective view, if part rotation exceeds a certain level. If this option is enabled the respective dimensioning is always visible independently of the part's state of rotation. For example, this could be advantageously for certain dimensionings like overall dimensions.
The 2D view will also not be affected.
This feature has been added with V12. In older versions the feature is simply ignored and so dimensioning displayed quite normal.
Views 3D: You can set 3D views for dimensionings different form 2D.
Font size 3D: You can set the font size in 3D different from 2D.
