3.3. 3Dfindit

3.3.1. Favorites configuration

The favorites functionality in ENTERPRISE 3Dfindit includes the ability to set favorites on all catalog levels (root element, directories, subdirectories, part families, table rows) and to create personal lists (structures) from which the respective favorite can be called.

On all Levels, the Favorites () icon is displayed.

The "Favorites [Favorites]" item is displayed in the user menu.

The following requirements must be met:

Permission to use the favorites functionality [Favorites] at user/group level.
1. Select the desired user or group.
2. Activate the profile Favorite User can create, modify and delete his own favorites (favorites-user).
PARTadmin > Category PARTsolutions > Application Server > Rights management [Rights administration] > Rights assignment [Assign rights] > Profiles
$CADENAS/SETUP/plinkcommon.cfg > Key enabled > block UseFavoriteList: Set the value to "true" or select the checkbox.
For an existing link database (not a new installation), the following SQL scripts supplied must be executed to create the required tables.
- $CADENAS/tools/database/MSSQL/erp_patch_mssql.sql adds the required fields.
- $CADENAS/tools/database/MSSQL/mssql_user_erpuser.sql erpuser gives the user the rights to the newly created fields.
- $CADENAS/tools/database/MSSQL/mssql_user_psadmin.sql, gives the admin psadmin the required Rights.
Start the pappserver service as soon as all Changes have been made.
