1.1.1. Client authorization rights

Pay attention that no administration modules like PARTlinkManager and PARTadmin are installed on user clients or restrict access via Windows authorization rights!

PARTadmin started without administration rights

  • In some categories the authorization rights are mandatory.

    Accessing files under $CADENAS_USER is possible without administrative authorization rights.

    Thus language settings can be performed without administrative authorization rights.

    Missing rights are identified by the lock icon.

  • If the information symbol is shown in the toolbar, this means that PARTadmin was not started in administrative mode. By clicking on the icon, PARTadmin is restarted - this time with Admin rights.

    The icon is only displayed when the UAC-Modus is activated.
