Single/Nodelocked: A license for a certain single workstation, licensed on the HOST ID at authorized locations

Besides single workstations, typically used for infrastructure components like AppServer, PLMSynchro-Worker and other computers running round the clock.

Named User (Dynamic User): Nodelocked licenses which are distributed by a license server, namely for dedicated users (Named-User), licensed on the User ID (e.g. Windows login), at authorized locations. The USER ID is registered when connecting with the licensed software at the first time. The number of active sessions may not exceed the number of registered users.

Typically used for End-User licensing (CAD workstations).

Floating: Licenses which are distributed by a license server.
