The settings under configuration files [Configuration files] can only be changed with administration rights. If these are not available, the lock symbol will appear next to the corresponding categories. No administration rights available You must also be logged in as an admin in ENTERPRISE 3Dfindit (see Section 1.7.4.3.3.1, “ Key "IsAdmin" - User mode ”). You can see your login status in the status bar at the bottom right.

To edit a configuration file, open the Configuration files category and then the corresponding subcategory. Select the desired configuration file there.

-> Now in the right dialog area blocks, keys and help texts of the respective file are displayed.

The illustration shows the "Configuration files [Configuration files] " category [Category] with the configuration file selected under "$CADENAS_SETUP".

When evaluating the settings, the CAD-specific (ifsolidworks.cfg, ifacad.cfg, etc.) and the general configuration file (ifacecommon.cfg) are used.^[48]
