[Note]Note

You can use global text mapping [Global text mapping] to search a large number of catalogs simultaneously with little effort.

On the side of the CSV file, you can specify one or several columns, which contain the manufacturer article number.

On the side of PARTsolutions no column has to be specified, because ALL columns will be searched.[6]

Global text mapping works in the same way as the article number search [Article Number Search].

  1. Select the Product source [Product Source] node.

Click on the Browse button under Settings -> Catalog selection ....

Select the desired CSV catalog and confirm with OK.

  2. Select the Global Text Match Filter node.

    • Select the PARTsolutions catalog [PARTsolutions Catalog Selection] and click on the Browse button ... and move the catalogs to be searched in the dialog box from left to right using the arrow key.

    • Under Field selection (i.e. the CSV file), click on the Browse button ... and move the field containing the manufacturer article number in the dialog box from left to right using the arrow key.

Now all needed settings are made.

  3. Click on the Start button to execute the pipeline.

-> A corresponding message appears in the Performance docking window.

  4. Now take a look at the result.

Depending on the quality of initial data you will find 100% hits and possible hits with less quality.

You could validate the 100% hits now and export them and then edit the remaining results with different methods.

[6] Classification of the column containing the manufacturer article number is planned. This will accelerate the process significantly.
