7.13.5.3. Context menu single parts

At each part you can find the following context menu commands:

Properties, Delete, Move up, Move down, Show links, Edit in PARTproject, Edit in PARTdesigner...

  • Properties

    ...opens the Properties [Part properties] window for the part [Part properties] (see above at Section 7.13.3.2.1, “Inserting components ”).

  • Delete

    ....removes the current part from the index tree.

    [Note]Note

    There is no confirmation prompt. The component is deleted immediately.

  • Move up / Move down

    A part newly inserted is added in the tree at the very bottom. With these two commands you can move the part up and down in the listing.

  • Show links

    Opens the tree and shows the links [Links] between the connection point [Connection point] and the connection part [Connection part].

  • Edit in PARTproject...

    This command calls up the module PARTproject module and immediately calls up the currently selected component.

    There you can make changes and return to the configurator [Configurator].

  • Edit in PARTdesigner...

    A new instance of PARTdesigner is called up with the 3D history [3D History], 3D view, variable manager [Variable Manager] and table [Table] docking windows.
