  • Threads etc. and the dimensions [Dimensioning] are highlighted in color.

  • In Grouped mode, the respective part can initially only be called up collectively after transfer to your CAD system. To address individual lines in parts or individual components in assemblies, you must ungroup them again.

    [Note]Note

How the grouping is affected depends on the respective CAD system and/or export mode (with or without interface).

  • Assembly component [assembly component] :

Assembly component [assembly component] refers to the preferred hatching direction in assemblies. If activated, the assembly is treated as a "component" and all parts of the assembly are hatched in the same direction during a section.

The difference is especially eye-catching with bearings.

Outer rings and inner rings are hatched in opposite directions by default. However, if the assembly component option is activated, they are hatched in the same direction.[125]

[125] ISO 8826-1 states, for example, that in the general, simplified representation of rolling bearings, all parts of the rolling bearing with the same item number, with the exception of the rolling elements, are to be hatched in the same direction.
