2.8. CADENAS/PARTsolutions Variables (Basic)

Available CADENAS variables:

  • $CADENAS (software)

  • $CADENAS_DATA (catalog path)

  • $CADENAS_CATALOG (by default) loaded catalogues)

  • $CADENAS_LANGUAGE

  • $CADENAS_SETUP (including scripts, configuration files)

  • $CADENAS_SITESETUP (see Section 1.6.6, “ $CADENAS_SITESETUP” in PARTsolutions Administration - Manual )

  • $CADENAS_USER

  • $CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER=$CADENAS_SETUP\user\default_user

    Example: When the USER directory is deleted, the values are reloaded from the DEFAULTUSER directory.

  • $CADENAS_LICENSE

Via the Help menu [Help] -> Systeminfo/Support [System info/Support] you open the PARTsolutions Systeminfo [PARTsolutions system information] dialog area, where you can find the PARTsolutions variables with the current path. You can quickly access the corresponding directories via the variable links. However, you must have the necessary administration rights.
