1.7. NX: Type of constraints configurable

Concentric and Align/Lock Constraints for placement with the PSOL place-on-cylinder strategy is supported.[6]

The new ifugnx.cfg key is "createNewerConstraints", it has the following values, regulating what happens when the user selects the "place on cylinder" strategy:

  • "0" = "Use Touch/Align" (old style - a pair of Touch and Align constraints will be created )

  • "1" = "Use Concentric" (fixed to the cylinder edge, but can rotate freely)

  • "2" = "Use Align/Lock" (fixed to the cylinder edge, cannot rotate) (default)
