5.9.1. Overview on tabbed pages

The number of displayed tabbed pages depends on different factors: Selected level (catalog, directory, project) Project type (selected in the General menu item) License Config setting In the following an overview is given, when which tabbed pages are shown. After this the following chapters give details on the single tabbed pages.

Comprehensive tab pages (at directory level)

General: The General menu item is always displayed, although the individual input lines vary depending on the selected level and project type.
Catalog help: A catalog help can be created at any level.
Translation: Translations can be made at any level.
Media Variable [Media variable]: On the Media Variable [Media variable] tab page (up to V11 "Documents") you can manage media variables. These can be created for various purposes(PARTtemplateDesigner[3D PDF data sheet function], print projects, wizards, product configurators, PARTcommunity [e.g. additional tooltip information]).
Image: Image import and image processing (at catalog and directory level)
History: Concerns quality control at PARTprojectQA.

Catalog spl [Catalog separation]itting: Function to create several sub-catalogs from a central catalog
The tab page is only visible after activating a corresponding config key. See Section 5.9.20, “Tabbed page: Catalog spl itting ”.

Information for existing customers:

With V12, you will find the various classifications on a separate Classification tab page and no longer as a sub-item of the General tab page.
Furthermore there are some new additional functions such as classifying via templates, for example.

QA check: Affects the quality control at PARTproject QA (project level), displayed if "Activate QA" is activated under Extras -> Settings [Preferences...]... "Activate QA [Activate QA] " is activated. See Chapter 6, PARTproject QA.
