1.3.6.6.1.  Show history / product history for the subdirectory
[Note]Note

The history only refers to committed changes, not to local changes that have been undone [Revert changes] using Undo changes [Revert changes].

The history can be used for research but also to restore a certain version with all changes up to the chosen point.

There are two commands for showing the history:

  • Show history [Show change history]: All class changes are displayed (name, description, class characteristics)

  • Product history for the sub-tree [Show history of products in subtree]: All events of products that are assigned to a class in the subtree are displayed.

Example:

  1. Call up the Show history [Show change history] command in the context menu of a class.

-> The Show history [Show History] dialog box opens.

  2. Select an event. You can call up the context menu command Show changes to the current version [Show Diff to current version] above the selected event.[11]

  3. As soon as an event line has been selected and you have clicked OK, the status of the selected version is restored.

  4. Afterwards commit the changes.

Also see Section 1.3.6.6.3, “Revert committed changes”.
