You can change the appearance of the derivatives in the list field under Render mode.

Choose one of the following options in the list field:

  • Line representation [Line view]:

    Line display [Line view]

    Line display [Line view]

  • Lines + shaded representation [Lines + shaded view]:

    Lines + shaded display [Lines + shaded view]

    Lines + shaded display [Lines + shaded view]

    Combination of line display and shaded display

    Advantage: Visually more appealing than the line display

  • Shaded view [Shaded View]:

    Shaded display [Shaded view]

    Shaded display [Shaded view]

    Here a gridded image is displayed, into a 2-D derivation. The derivation is only created if an export to the CAD system follows.

    Advantages:

    • Optically more attractive than line display

    • Very rapid display, also with complex parts

    This render mode is also used to create the 3D data sheet.[98] See Section 2.1.9.4.4, “Export PDF datasheet ” data sheet. This is where the speed advantage comes into its own.
