4.5.1.2. Example

In this example the following head cap screw is searched:

  1. Click on Filter -> Filter search across all catalogs.

    -> The display is still unspecific.

  2. Set the desired filters:

    • Catalogs -> Wuerth

    • Keywords -> Screws

    • Classifications -> Filister head screw, internal drive

      [Tip]Tip
      • Use the filter input field in order to quickly detect the searched options.

      • The sequence when setting filters doesn't matter in principle. If you have a lot of catalogs search times are shortened when restricting the number of catalogs in the first step.

      -> After having added a new filter the display is immediately adjusted.

  3. For example, set the following variable filters:

    • Surface (OBERFLAECHE) -> DC3

    • Quality (GUETE) -> 10.9

    • Material (MATERIAL) -> ST

    -> Now one product is already specified.

    -> In the course of specifying, more and more variable filters are shown (for screws nominal thread diameter and length, for example).

  4. Specify nominal thread diameter and length, for example.

    • Nominal thread diameter -> 10

    • Length -> 45

  5. Open the part.

    -> Exactly the searched characteristic is displayed.

    If you want to see all table lines, click on the icon Search filter on/off.
