8.5. Catalogs: Update via PARTadmin

Use catalog updates. This ensures the best possible component quality.

Downloading catalogs is only possible for verified customers with valid maintenance.

For verification please send an e-mail to:

sekretariat@cadenas.de

With indication of:

Company, postal code, city, first and last name of the employee + email address to be used to log in. Than Please enter the subject "Verifizierung der Nutzerdaten zum Katalogdownload".

To update existing catalogs(standards catalogs or manufacturer catalogs), use the online installation via PARTadmin -> Catalogs -> Online.

Activate the checkbox for the desired catalogs and click Download/install selected catalogs.

[Important]Important

For most use cases, it is recommended to select either the option Keep all or the option Number of versions >=2 (default 2) in the 3rd versions [3. Versions] dialog area.

The colored symbol indicates the status of the respective catalog:

Update available
Catalog not yet installed [Catalog not installed yet]
Catalog downloaded but not yet installed
