For existing customers who still have the old pool mechanism, the native projects can be opened from the client if the environment variable CADENAS_DATA is also set on the client (as on the server).^[20]

However, if clients are to access the CADENAS_DATA of the server, this can be achieved if the environment variable CADENAS_APPSERVER is given the parameter remotepool=1.

If the interface wants to save files in the pool, you can create a CADENAS_POOL variable and set the pool directory for the interface outside of CADENAS_DATA.
