1.10.1.3.2.24. Marking of circular dependencies in the " Variable structure " graph

With V12, circular dependencies in the variable structure [Variable dependencies] graph are highlighted in red.

Example 1:

The variable "TT " was selected. The green edges show that it is not in a circular dependency.

Variable structure [Variable dependencies] " dialog box: No circular dependencies

Variable structure [Variable dependencies] " dialog box: No circular dependencies

Example 2:

The variable "W " was selected. It is in a circular dependency. The edges are marked in bold red.

Variable structure [Variable dependencies] " dialog box: Multiple circular dependencies

Variable structure [Variable dependencies] " dialog box: Multiple circular dependencies

W <- XPMIN <- PX <- P <- XWMAX <- WX <- W

A variable can also be part of multiple circular dependencies: Variable "W" is also part of a further circular dependency.

Dependencies on a selected variable are marked with bold red edges. Other dependencies with thin red edges.

When clicking into an empty space an existing selection is cancelled.

You can find more details on this under Section 7.12.7, “ Show variable dependencies ” in eCATALOGsolutions - Manual.
